5 questions to ask your kitchen fitter

When you are buying a new kitchen, it can be a daunting process. You have to decide on the layout, style and colour scheme. Then you have to find the right company to do the fitting for you. When it comes to fitting out your kitchen, there are endless possibilities and choices. Finding the right person to do that job is essential.

It is important to ask questions to kitchen fitter. It is difficult to find an experienced, reliable and honest kitchen fitter, so it’s essential that you do your research before deciding who will be working in your home.

Here are 5 questions to ask your kitchen fitter:

How long have you been in business?

The longer the company has been established, the more experience they will have in dealing with customers’ needs. They will also have a better understanding of what constitutes good customer service, which is important. If the company has been around for less than two years, be wary and ask them why they started up so soon after graduating from college or university.

Are you fully insured?

As well as having insurance for public liability and indemnity, it’s also important for them to have all relevant insurances for working in your home. These include fire and theft policies as well as product liability insurance if they’re using any power tools on site.

What training do your fitters have?

If your fitter isn’t qualified in any way, then you could end up with poor quality workmanship or even dangerous situations if something goes wrong during installation of your new kitchen units or appliances. Ask what qualifications they hold and check these against their names on their insurance certificates before agreeing on a price

Do you fit kitchens throughout the UK?

It may not be possible for every company to travel to your local area, so make sure they’re available in yours before agreeing to anything. If they can’t travel to you, ask if there are any local companies who can do the same job for less money than them – this way you’ll get exactly what you need without having to pay expensive travel costs!

What is your average customer rating?

You should be able to find out what customers think of their service by looking at online reviews and testimonials on their website. If there are not many reviews available online, then ask if they could email some recent ones over – this shows that they are proud of their work and want others to know about it too!
